What is civil litigation?

It is formal legal disputes where one party will prevail and be awarded money or declaratory rights. When a person harms your reputation, harasses you, or steals from you, you need an attorney who can quickly identify your best remedies. The same is true when someone falsely accuses you of harming their reputation, harassing them, or stealing from them. These are civil litigation matters between individuals that often result in money judgments as well as restraining orders against the restrained party in favor of the protected party. Our Attorney has successfully obtained and defended restraining orders and can help you obtain full justice.

What can the judge order other than money?

A judge can issue a restraining order against someone who is harassing you. This can include staying 100 yards away from your person, home, and vehicle. It can also include the award of attorney’s fees for the prevailing party, either in defending against an unwarranted restraining order or successfully obtaining a warranted one.
